We Braised Greens, We Browned Chicken, We Ate Well

Last Monday’s dinner was Chicken with Lentils & Gremolata and Braised Greens.  JM browned 96 chicken thighs, and made it look so easy.  Bacon + Chicken Skin creates harmony and happiness.  Smells so good, tastes so great, and just look at the golden loveliness…goodness me.

We ordered braising mix from Full Circle Farm, and it was so so pretty.  And there was so so much of it – three boxes stacked up to my waist. But, through the miracle of heat and chicken stock that kale was braised to less than half of it’s raw volume.  Cooked with sweet onions, I thought it was delicious.
